Market study for Bellevue in Sierre

The full-time students were able to carry out a study of the behavior of the users of the Bellevue building of the HES-SO Valais Wallis in Sierre.

Indeed, many actors use these buildings daily in a very diverse and varied way. The study of these behaviors regarding energy issues was approached through user interviews, field analysis and a survey conducted among the stakeholders using this place. The results allowed us to define the main energy-consuming behaviors of consumers and those that could have an impact on the reduction of energy consumed in this Minergie building dating from around 2000.

Chatbot « Le Compagnon »

A market study was conducted with the aim of analyzing the general interest of an IT tool, the chatbot, concerning energy renovation issues. This pilot project was developed by the company Eqlosion, allowing inhabitants to search for information about potential future renovations of their buildings. The research of the target audience, its socio-demographic characteristics, but also the interest of individuals and companies were analyzed and treated in this mandate.

New option within the Bachelor in Social Work HES-SO Valais Wallis

The students interviewed all types of actors involved in the teaching modules, i.e. professors, program leaders, students, experts in the field, etc. Thanks to a survey carried out among current students, the trends could be presented in order to position the head of the program in her future reflections.

Altis

Altis, the energy service of the Val de Bagnes, is interested in the current low rate of renovation. In this sense, it has mandated the economics students to study the behavior of their customers: do they feel concerned by the issue of energy transition?
Are they satisfied with the products and services offered? What additional services would they like?
All these questions were addressed through a market analysis including interviews in the field, a survey of about 500 responses and also the proposal of strategic and managerial recommendations for the company.

La Petite Epicerie

A market study was conducted with the aim of analyzing the general interest of an IT tool, the chatbot, concerning energy renovation issues. This pilot project was developed by the company Eqlosion, allowing inhabitants to search for information about potential future renovations of their buildings. The research of the target audience, its socio-demographic characteristics, but also the interest of individuals and companies were analyzed and treated in this mandate.

Local’Ice

The class worked in groups of 4 to 5 people on a market analysis for the company Local’Ice. This company offers ice cream made with 100% local ingredients. The company wanted to know more about the target clientele, the appropriate sales outlets, and the purchasing habits of ice cream consumers.
