Influence of users on the performance gap in energy efficient buildings
UserGap is applied research that focuses on the influencing factors of the energy performance gap in a neighbourhood in Meyrin, Geneva, Switzerland. This interdisciplinary research used Living Lab approaches combining a neighbourhood level analysis (MACRO) by econometricians, a technical analysis of building energy (MESO) and a human factors analysis by social marketing specialists (MICRO). The action research co-developed an energy action plan with stakeholders through the Living Lab Integrative Process.
