The Living Lab Integrative Process (LLIP) is a Living Lab methodology used to develop projects in an iterative and participative way at the MESO level (Mastelic, 2019). The LLIP is based on the principles of Design Thinking and has 3 main stages or “spaces”: The Problem Space, The Solution Space, the Deployment space. Empathising with users, integrating stakeholders, and defining barriers are part of the problem space. For more information see the e-learning video used in the capacity building programme.
